Calibration Vacuum Tank
High-speed. Reliable. Efficient
Metzer’s vacuum calibration tank is designed to provide precise pipe shaping and stable vacuum control during the extrusion of drip irrigation lines. Built with robust welded stainless-steel construction, the unit ensures long-term reliability and consistent performance under demanding production conditions.
The system includes a closed-loop vacuum control, driven by a VFD-controlled vacuum blower, for stable and adjustable pressure throughout the extrusion process. In parallel, a VFD-controlled circulation pump manages water level through a closed-loop system, ensuring continuous calibration consistency and temperature control.
For seamless integration into dripline production, the tank features an integrated dripper welding chamber with a motorized welding wheel, along with a pipe break sensor that can automatically halt the extruder and/or dripper insertion unit when disruptions are detected—protecting downstream equipment and minimizing scrap.
Additional features include a precision positioning mechanism for repeatable setup and an integrated electrical control panel for centralized operation and monitoring. This tank forms a critical component of any high-speed dripline extrusion line, supporting accurate pipe formation and reliable dripper bonding.
