Challenge
Steep terrain and large-scale coverage demanded a robust and efficient irrigation system capable of consistent water distribution and centralized control. An additional challenge was the delivery of water from a distant reservoir to multiple pivot points across the site
Resolution
Metzer ATC (Metzer-Group’s subsidiary in S.E. Asia) delivered a fully automated system comprising 11 center pivots, each with a 20-hour rotation cycle. The comprehensive scope included land survey, hydraulic design, supply, installation, system commissioning, and operator training.
To ensure reliable water delivery, Metzer also constructed a floating pumping station at the water source, a reinforced pumping house, and a main pipeline network to feed all pivot units—overcoming elevation challenges and ensuring uniform pressure across the entire field.
